Liberal Man Dies in Aircraft Incident

A fatality aircraft incident occurred at approximately 9:28 pm on January 28th at .75 mile south of County Road B and 1 mile west of Mile 42 located approximately 10 mile northwest of Hooker, OK in Texas County.

Victor Chavirra Mendoza,age 46 of Liberal, KS. was in a Cessna 172, N6482B when it crashed for an unknown reason. Mendoza was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This incident is under investigation by the FAA.
