Liberal Hosts Midnight Volleyball Practice

Liberal High School’s volleyball team has been waiting a long time for the 2009 season. After graduating two seniors MaKayla McPhail and Brittany Odle from last year’s state tournament team, Liberal is so anxious for the 2009 season that they are starting practice the first possible minute. The Redskins will practice volleyball at 12:01 August 17. There will be a parent and player meeting Sunday night August 16 at 9:00 PM in the LHS cafeteria. Players must have all of their paperwork turned into the office by August 14. The second practice will be August 17 from 1-3. Liberal has won three straight WAC titles under coach Hugo Cano.
