Liberal Girls Ninth at Buffalo Dunes

The Lady Skins traveled to Buffalo Dunes Monday for an 18 hole event. The girls place 9 out of 12 teams. Garden City won the tournament with Maize followed by Hays. Evan Sumner shot a career best 97 tying for 22nd. Jamie Brond carded a 116, Amanda Beamon shot a 143 and Julie Jackle entered the clubhouse with a 144. Head coach Kody Thexton says this was a step forward.
"We struggled some today but I am overall pleased with the turnout. Evan played her best round so we were all excited for her."
Our next tournament will be the September 22 at Willow Tree golf course.
