The City of Liberal is collecting votes on the final design of the community mural project!
The mural will be located at Light Park facing Kansas Avenue. The project is funded in part by a grant from the Kansas Arts Commission.

The themes selected by the community were to include: Family/Friendship, “Wizard of Oz,” Agriculture, Welcoming/Friendly People (Seymour Rogers), Pancake Day Tradition, Cultural Diversity, and Aviation History.

You’re invited to help choose a final design from the options above. Residents of all ages are encouraged to take the survey. This survey is available in English and Spanish, with paper surveys and additional language assistance services are available at City Hall, 324 N. Kansas Ave.

The mural will be completed by local artist, Karem Gallo, by Summer 2025.
