The Liberal City Commission will meet tonight and will consider additional funds for programs that the City offers to the citizens of Liberal. The first to be considered will be an additional $20,000 the First Time Home Buyers Program and an additional $30,000 for the Senior Citizen Programs. This includes weatherization, exterior and emergency repairs.

Purchase requests will also be considered for the Building and Water Departments.
For the Building Department, a Gamber-Johnson Pedastel Mounting kit is being requested at a cost of $5,956.75.

The Water Department is requesting to purchase a 1/2 ton Crew cab pick up from Foss Ford of Liberal in the amount of $24,650 and Skid Steer with two bids received. White Star bid has come in at $38,377.01 while Foley Catepillar is at $45,413.92.

Also on the agenda is the consideration of the acceptance of a Glasair III aircraft for the Mid-America Air Museum. The aircraft is valued at $151,000.
