Liberal City Commission to Meet, Budget, Food Truck Regulations on the Agenda

The Liberal City Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday evening at 5:30pm with the presentation of the 2019 budget on the agenda. The budget being presented does not reflect an increase in the mil levy for 2019.

Also before the Commission are new regulations for mobile food vendors, General Obligation Bonds, Uniform Public Offense Codes, and Standard Traffic Ordinances.

The Small Business Development Center will be before the Commission as will the Liberal Area Coalition for Families and the Mid America Air Museum Foundation.

The annual chip seal project will be considered by the Commission as well as a request to purchase an air conditioning unit for the airport.

Commissioners will also consider the release of Federal Surplus Property Obligations.
