Liberal City Commission Meets, Approves Truancy/Teen Court Funding

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening at 5:30pm and after a presentation by Ivanhoe Love Jr, approved the City’s portion of funding for the Truancy and Teen Court programs.

Commissioners approved the purchase of a Bomag roller for the Street Department in the amount of $13,494.00 and approved the purchase of the Spillman Server Replacement in the amount of $61,719 which will be split three ways with the Sheriff’s department and Communications.

Also approved was the Development Agreement with National Beef and the Code of Ordinance.

The Commission also approved the purchase of 480 feet of metal crowd control barriers St a cost of $5,486.00.

The Liberal City Commission will participate in the Council of Governments on Thursday morning at 7:00am at Seward County Community College.
