The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening with a light agenda before them. Commissioners heard updates on the Truancy Program from Director Ivanhoe Love Jr., Program Supervisors, and graduates of the program.This was an annual update to the commission as the City of Liberal helps fund the program. The lone action item was setting a policy for Tax Increment Financing for future Economic Development projects. The policy was unanimously approved. The next meeting of the Liberal City Commission will be June 24th.
