The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening and approved several purchases. Among the items purchased at the meeting was Body Armor for Police Officers in the amount of $10,528 of which half will be reimbursed to the City.
Poly Carts and a Pressure Washer purchases were approved by the Commission for the Solid Waste Department. $7445.00 for the Poly Carts and the Pressure Washer for $6,545.00 The Street Department was also approved to purchase a Pressure Washer in the amount of $6,285.00.
Public Grounds Department was given the OK to purchase a Utility Tractor from Advanced Power Distributors in the amount of $21,500.00.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Liberal Police Department and USD 480 was approved in regards to All-Access Cards to be issued for officers.
