The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening and after a public hearing, approved the Determining the Advisability of Issuing Taxable Industrial Revenue Bonds for National Beef’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Commission also approved a temporarily closing the shooting range while construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant is taking place.
Purchases for the City’s IT Department included:
Workstation Replacements for $15,761.22
Data Center RAM Upgrade for $4,964.64
Microsoft Server Licensing for $23,665.72
Replacement Form Printer for $7,625.69
MDT Replacements for $23,406.36
and MDT’s for the Durangos for $9,138.80
The City Commissioners approved the purchase of 2 used vehicles for the Investigations Division of the Police Department from Lewis Chevrolet. Approved was a 2016 Ford Fusion in the amount of $13,943 and a 2017 Chevy Malibu in the amount of $14, 057. Both vehicles still have factory warranties.
The Commissioners also approved a new logo for Willow Tree Golf Course and appointed Nick Schwindt and Steve Merz to the Planning and Zoning Board.
B&H Paving of Scott City was approved to complete the City’s crack sealing in the amount of $68,380.00.
