The Liberal Redskins built a large lead in the Big House on Saturday evening at the Conestoga/Community Bank Classic. Liberal head coach Ryan Petty says the Redskins played their best offense of basketball of the season in the first half . They executed their half-court offense to perfection producing layups on the way to a 42-21 lead at halftime over the visiting Borger bulldogs. But the Redskins struggled to put the Bulldogs away in the fourth quarter holding on to win 60-56.
Caneron Riley provided the senior leadership the Redskins needed scoring 20 points. Tristan Brigham dropped in 12.
