Liberal Bounces Booker in Five

Liberal only had five hits, but they were opportunistic in beating Booker 10-0 in five innings Tuesday at the National Beef Family Sports Complex. Liberal scored six in the second and four in the third. Jacob McCarter was 2-2 with a triple, two runs, and an RBI. Jared Hasik was 1-1 with a triple and two RBI’s and two runs. Cristian Erives was 1-2 with an RBI. Angel Archuletta added a hit. Cole Evans is 5-0 after allowing just five hits in the shutout. The 12-0 Redskins host the Colby Eagles Friday at 4. The JV beat Booker 11-1 and stand 11-0.
