Liberal Blanks Wichita Heights

Liberal’s soccer team broke their opening game of a Wichita tournament wide open.  The Redskins opened the Wichita North Cup Monday evening with a 9-0 win over the Wichita Heights Falcons.  Mike Fonseca had three goals and Brian Alvarez added two goals.  Juan Alvarado had two goals and two assists. Christian Sobalvarro had two assists.  The Redskins are 8-4 and play Thursday at 5:15 against the winner of Tuesday game between Wichita East and Wichita West.
