LHS Volleyball Season Ends with Loss to Pittsburg

Liberal came ready to play at sub state Saturday in Ark City.  LHS, the seven seed won their first set over the heavily favored Pittsburg Purple Dragons 25-23.  However Pittsburg came back and won 25-19 and 25-22.  Pittsburg beat Maize in two sets and makes state.  LHS finishes 17-16 after a competitive showing at Ark City and a second place finish in Hays at WAC the weekend before.
