LHS Volleyball Rallies Past Red Demons

Liberal’s volleyball team is clearly headed the right direction. After starts of 0-6 and 2-8, Liberal is 5-9 after rallying from down 0-2 to beat Dodge City 3-2 at the Dodge City Fieldhouse Thursday evening. Liberal won 22-25, 20-25, 25-6, 26-24, 25-18. Jada Mickens had 15 kills and seven blocks while Abbey Hebbert added 14 kills and eight blocks. Jessica Cisneros passed at 2.4 while Stephanie Garcia had 10 kills and passed a 2.2. Samantha Terrazas had eight kills and Hayden Martinez had six kills. Liberal hosts their own tournament in the Big House beginning Saturday morning at 8:30.
