LHS Volleyball Finishes August with Two More Losses

The Liberal High volleyball team will be looking forward to turning the calendar from August to September. The Redskins fall to 1-7 in the month after two more losses Thursday afternoon and evening. LHS lost to Garden City 14-25, 21-25 and Great Bend 11-25, 12-25. Shamari Lewis had nine kills and seven assists. Ali Castro registered 14 digs. Liberal plays at Perryton’s tournament on Saturday.
