Tuesday, Liberal police officers arrested LHS teacher and assistant boys soccer coach Drake Marshall Foster pursuant to an ongoing investigation. Charges were referred to the Seward County Attorney’s Office. A complaint has been filed charging Foster with Electronic Solicitation, Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Indecent Solicitation of a Child, and Promoting Obscenity. A bond has been set for Foster in the amount of 50-thousand dollars cash or surety. His next scheduled court date is for a scheduling December 3. Lynn Koehn has been appointed to represent Foster.

These charges are merely accusations and the Defendant in this case, as in all cases, is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Foster began working at LHS this fall. The USD 480 district has received Foster’s letter of resignation effective immediately.
