LHS Spikers Win 2 of 3 in Garden City

Liberal played some pretty good volleyball Thursday evening at the Garden. Liberal won two of three matches. LHS defeated Great Bend 25-25, 25-19 and beat Colby 25-10, 25-23. The Redskins fell to Garden City 17-25, 27-25, 23-25.
On the night, Machia Mullens had 21 kills and Whitney Hay added 18. Haylee Parker had 45 digs and Kaeleah Chaloupek had eight aces.
Liberal is 4-7 on the season and duels at Dumas Saturday morning at 10.
