The Liberal softball team saw more good competition at a triangular in McPherson on Tuesday.  Undefeated McPherson topped Liberal 15-0 and Maize blanked LHS 13-0.

In the McPherson game, the Bullpups scored six in the first and five in the third before ending the game with four in the fourth.  Liberal had three hits.  McPherson is 16-0.

In the Maize game, the Eagles scored two in the second, four in the third, two in the fourth, and five in the fifth.  The game only went five innings due to run rule.  Liberal had one hit.  Maize is 9-5.

Liberal falls to 3-6 and plays at Hugoton for a double header at about 4pm Thursday.
