LHS Scores Drop with WAC Teams at Willow Tree

Liberal’s scores came down on their home course Tuesday with WAC competition at Willow Tree in Liberal. LHS finished fourth with a 328. Garden City won the event with a 302 followed by Hays and Dodge City with a 311 and Great Bend was last with a 380. Garden City’s Sion Audrain won the tournament with a 67. As for the Redskins, Cameron Riley is honorable mention all WAC after shooting a 79. Alex Carrasco shot 81, Dylan Shellenberger carded an 82, Nate Vervalin shot 85, and Clint Peterson shot 86. Liberal competes at regionals Monday at StoneRidge at Great Bend with Great Bend, Newton, Salina Central, Salina South, and Valley Center.
