Coach Carlo Ruiz comments:
“I am very proud of the way the girls played and out played a team like East for the majority of the game. After a long week of traveling and leaving town today at 5 am to face a strong opponent is tough to do as it is but our girls fought and showed great teamwork and progress. Our girls showed what kind of team we are and gained the respect that they deserve. We have a big conference week this next week as we travel to Great Bend Tuesday and host Hays Thursday night.”
