LHS Loses to Southeast on PK’s

It came down to penalty kicks in Liberal’s semifinal game of the Wichita South Titan Classic.  The Wichita Southeast Buffaloes won the PK’s 4-1 to win the game.  The first half was tied 0-0.  In the second half, Karime Neave found Abby Lopez for a goal to give the Lady Red a 1-0 lead.  Southeast tied the game with a corner kick with 8:33 left in regulation.  The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation and then went to PK’s.

Liberal falls to 2-2 and plays Saturday at the Wichita South Titan Classic.
