LHS JV Wins at Willow Tree and Meade’s Saucedo Takes First

The Liberal JV Golf Boys were champions of the day at their home tournament. Meade placed second and Dodge City was third. The day was absolutely perfect for golf, and while some boys struggled to find their groove, others were able to hit their best rounds ever. The individual tournament winner was Blaise Saucedo of Meade who shot an 88, but taking a very close second was sophomore Caleb Gerhardt of Liberal with an 89. Also placing top ten individually for the Redskins were Tracey Hill–6th place–and Evan Bayouth–8th place. Both squads of Liberal golf next compete on the 11th with the Varsity going to Guymon and the JV going to Elkhart.
