LHS Hosts Pep Rally After Final Fun Run

Liberal hosted their traditional pep rally after their final Fun Run Thursday night. The crowd heard LHS coaches from all seasons talk about their team and their work in the summer during a warm and breezy evening. The fall sports coaches were saved for last to discuss their seasons which begin with practice on Monday. The LHS cheerleaders and Red Line Dancers performed. Forty LHS athletes were recognized for 90 percent or better attendance in the weight room this summer. Thirty of the forty athletes are boys and 27 are football players and eight are cheerleaders. The LHS Booster Club fed the crowd watermelon after the event.
