LHS Golfers Struggle at Great Bend

Liberal’s golf team competed at the Great Bend Invitational Monday and finished fifth out of six teams. Dodge City won the tournament with a 303 followed by Great Bend (332), Hays (345), Garden City (347), Liberal (376), and Salina South (421). Dodge City’s Zach Kirby shot a 72 to win the event.

Blake Stout led Liberal with a 92 followed by Michael Begley’s (93), George Fitzgerald’s (95), Daniel Dowell’s (96), and Blake Brennneman’s (108).

Liberal competes at Dodge City Tuesday.
