LHS Girls Wins First Game on Penalty Kick

LHS freshman Karina Vazquez scored on a first half penalty kick to give the Liberal girls soccer team a 1-0 win at Guymon Tuesday for their first win of the season. Maricarmen Visoso was elbowed in the penalty box leading to the penalty kick. LHS goalie Elizabeth Del Hoyo had five saves. Liberal is 1-8 and hosts Guymon Friday at 1 pm.
