LHS Girls Save Best for Last

The LHS girls soccer team didn’t score the first 74 minutes of soccer Tuesday night at Redskin Field. But during the last 5:30, LHS found the back of the net in the south goal twice for a 2-0 season opening win over Guymon. Karina Vasquez scored with 5:22 remaining with an assist from Cynthia Amaya. Vasquez scored again with 2:40 remaining. Liberal begins play in the Wichita South Titan Classic Monday.
