LHS Girls Finish in Middle of WAC Standings

Liberal’s girls golf team finished in the middle of the WAC standings in girls golf. LHS competed at Great Bend on Tuesday and placed fourth with a 205 and finishes third in the WAC. Sarah Bayouth placed seventh and Hannah Chacon was eighth as both shot a 48. Bayouth is named to the all WAC team and Corey Mein was honorable mention all WAC. Garden City wins the WAC with Hays second, then LHS, Dodge City, and Great Bend. LHS competes at Syracuse Thursday and at regionals at Tex Consolver golf course in Wichita on Monday for regionals with Goddard, Goddard Eisenhower, Ark City, Maize South, Kapaun, and Bishop Carroll.
