LHS Gets First Score Before Four for the Demons

The Liberal soccer team wrapped up their regular season with a 4-1 loss at Dodge City Memorial Stadium Thursday night.  The first goal was a Suain Moncayo penalty kick just 3:10 into the game.  Dodge City tied the game at 1-1 at the 23:15 mark.   The Demons took the lead 2-1 with 14:49 remaining and led 2-1 at halftime.  DCHS led 3-1 after a penalty kick in the box and penalty kick five minutes into the half.  The Red Demons tacked on another goal with four minutes remaining for the 4-1 lead.  Dodge City is 16-0.  The Redskins have dropped three of their last four and finish the regular season 11-4-1.  They will host a playoff game next week.
