LHS Cross Country Gears for State

Liberal’s senior cross country runners have run up to seven times on the state meet course at Rim Rock Farms near Lawrence.  That is the location for the 5A state meet Saturday.  Liberal seniors Cam Slatten, Yanelly Jurado, and Saw Ahmara join juniors Alondra Alvarado and Kelsey Ramsey and freshmen Katie Horyna and Erika Valverde on the girls  team which will run at 12:55.  Sophomore boys Antonio Borunda, Xavier Perez, and Javier Carrillo will run for the boys at 11:10.  The athletes were guests on Sportsguys Thursday.
