The winner of the 2009 LHS Booster Club Showdown will be making her national radio debut Friday night. Stephanie Bunger, who walked away with the top prize back in January at the LHS Booster Club Showdown sponsored by 102.7 The Legend and the High Plains Daily Leader, has returned from Nashville Tennessee, where she spent some time in a recording studio, recording her first single. That single will be debuted on the syndicated Conman Radio Show, Friday night at approximately 10:00pm, on 102.7 The Legend. Stephanie, who will be married soon,will be performing under her married name, Stepanie Musick. Stephanie, a Liberal High School graduate, interned for six months under Chris Conn, in Denver, where his show originates. The Conman Radio Show broadcasts to an estimated 3 million people nationwide. In addition to winning the LHS Booster Club. Showdown, Stephanie also won the Colgate Country Showdown in Elkhart this past summer, in 2006 she won the West Texas Idol competition, and in 2007 she won the Amarillo Star competition. Stephanie has opened for several major country artists including, Merle Haggard, Aaron Tippin, and Joe Diffee. Catch Stephanie’s national debut Friday night on 102.7 The Legend.
