Tad Cullum waived his right to a speedy trial in court today.
Tad Cullum was the only defendant in the murders of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley that went through with preliminary hearings and had not waived his rights.
At the end of the preliminary hearing for Cullum, the judge found that there was probable cause and sufficient evidence in all charges and ordered Cullum for trial.
Cullum was scheduled to appear in court for further proceedings on Jan. 13.
Cullum appeared in court Thursday with his attorneys and voluntarily waived his rights to a speedy trial.
The proceedings are now scheduled for April 16 at 9 a.m.
