Lady Skins Blow Out Goodland

It was Sunday Funday for the Liberal Lady Redskins in Salina. The Lady Skins beat up on 4A division 2 Goodland 55-37 at Salina Central to finish 1-2 at the Salina Invitational. Jada Mickens scored 19 and Diamond Bailey scored a season high 18.

LHS led 12-0 and 12-4 after one quarter. It was 34-21 LHS at halftime. Liberal led 50-28 after three in a game in which all of Liberal’s players go in the game. LHS went 7-12 from three point range and forced 17 Goodland turnovers.

The Cowgirls are 5-7 and the Lady Redskins are 7-5 and host Clayton Tuesday night at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
