The Seward County Lady Saints started off sluggish Friday night against Coffeyville trailing by five early and leading by just two at halftime in Wichita at Koch Arena. The Lady Saints came out strong in the second half though outscoring Coffeyville 45-36 in route to an 80-69 victory.

Seward shot 47% from the floor and finished the game with ten threes. Rachel Barnes led the way with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Megan Lassley scored 18, while Kendra Spresser had 16. Vaneza Junior added 10 points and 12 assistants.

The Lady Saints are now 30-2 overall, and will play in the semi-finals of the Region VI on Sunday against Cowley at 3 p.m. The game will air on B107.5 and right here at kscbnews.net.
