Lady Saints Swarm Cloud

The Seward Lady Saints have been using a smaller lineup in recent games which seems to have given the team a shot in the arm. The Lady Saints switched up defenses and presses Monday night in the Green House harrassing the Cloud Lady Thunderbirds to 28 turnovers in a Seward 54-47 win. The victory helps Seward move into a tie for second place with Garden City at 9-3 in the Jayhawk West trailing only 10-1 Hutchinson and leading 8-3 Cloud and 7-4 Butler.

Seward committed 22 turnovers of their own but Madison McLain scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Seward is 18-7 overall and Cloud is 18-7.

The Lady Saints play at Dodge City Saturday night at 6 p.m. on B107.5.
