Playing at Neosho County in Chanute for the first time since 1986, the Lady Saints made a memorable return.  Fifth ranked Seward beat Neosho 86-57 and set the school’s record for three pointers in a season in the process. Seward has 253 three’s surpassing the record of 250 from 2006-07. That team was 36-2 in 38 games. The 16-17 Lady Saints shatter the record in game 26.

Seward made 12-28 three’s on the watch to the win.  The gals in Green shot 48 percent from the field and held Neosho to 29 percent shooting. Mollie Mounsey had 24 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Brennyn Seagler scored 14 and Valerie Caro had 10.

The Lady Saints led 52-26 at the half before Neosho outscored SCCC 19-14 in the third. Seward outscored the Lady Panthers 20-12 in the fourth.
