Lady Redskins Hold Down Newton

Liberal shut down the Newton Lady Railers 43-20 Monday night at Ravenscroft Gymnasium in Newton.  Liberal led 22-9 at halftime.  Newton tried to hold the ball and slow down the game.  Ashley Carrillo and Machia Mullens had 12 points a piece.  Aubrey Warden and Audrey Gilmore scored six a piece.  The Lady Redskins were 12-13 at the foul line.   Liberal is 15-0 and Newton is 0-15.  Liberal plays a Guymon Tuesday night at about 6:30 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
