Lady Red Seniors Thank the Community
Brock Kappelmann - April 23, 2020 5:53 am
No one expected our basketball season to end the way it did; however, we still wanted to let the
Redskin Nation know how much we appreciate them. On behalf of the Liberal Lady Redskins
we would like to thank the community for their tremendous support throughout the season and
our four years. We would like to thank all our fans who cheered us on at home, listened to the
radio, and traveled across the state to watch us play. We would like to thank the sponsors who
paid for tickets for our home sub-state games and allowed our fans to be part of our amazing
career.
Rowdy Crowd you are amazing. You showed up, gave up days off Spring Break and your
support was always positive. Most girls teams across the state have to beg students to come to
games; we didn’t. You showed up and were LOUD. Thank you.
That Liberal Band you represented us and our school amazingly. You were the best band at
state and your support is outstanding.
Cheerleaders you are a one of a kind squad! All of the other schools envy your precision and
technique. We can always count on you to cheer us on and share in our victories!
Redline dancers you are so encouraging and on beat! Your dances inspire the crowd and bring
life to our gym.
Brock, we love your enthusiasm for our team and the fact that you can help everyone who can’t
be at our games enjoy them just as if they were sitting right there. Our extended families
appreciate it and we love your excitement for our team.
Kaden and Bruce, not every team has their own personal photographers, but we have two
amazing ones. You capture us in action, being silly, and have shown everyone how much we
love this game. Earl, you never missed a moment and memory and always wrote about the
good and bad. Thank you for all your support.
Tom, our chauffeur, you are so much more than our bus driver. You are part of the team and
cheer us on just as intense as anyone else. Thank you for always getting us through our travels
safely.
To our administration, not every school has the support system like we do. We appreciate all of
you that attended our games. To our teachers who all came to the games, thank you for taking
an interest in us not only in the classroom, but also outside of the classroom as well. You are
the best!
LHS Booster Club thank you for the approval of helping fund the Rowdy Crowd Bus to the state
tournaments. Their support along with yours helped us more than you know.
Coaches and assistant coaches, you don’t always get much glory, but we could have never
been as successful as we were without you. You pushed us everyday and that’s why we were
so successful. You guys created a family that we will always remember.
Steve and Red Med, we are glad to not visit you very often, but when we did you always took
care of us and got us back on the court as quickly as possible.
Managers don’t always get us in the most pleasant moods and we know we don’t smell very
good, but thank you for always taking care of us and keeping us hydrated.
Parents we wouldn’t be where we are without you. We would go to away games and have more
fans than the other home team. You pushed us, were a shoulder to lean on when the times got
rough, and our biggest fans. You made us the people that we are today and we wouldn’t be who
we are if it wasn’t for you. WE LOVE YOU! To the future Lady Red team, we have all worked hard to build this program and now the fate of
our program is in your hands. Always Remember:
The TEAM is first
Work hard all the time in season and out of season
Have fun
No blame
Don’t forget your clothes
Be a Family on and off the court
