KDOT To Hold Meeting On US Hwy. 83 Improvements

The Kansas Department of Transportation will host a public information open house to give people an opportunity to review proposals for possible future improvements to US-83 from Sublette to US-160.

The meeting will be held Thursday, September 20, from 5:00 �?? 7:00pm at the Sublette Christian Church at 106 W. Carson Street.

The proposals have grown out of a corridor study along US-83 and KDOT is developing designs for projects that could be built if funding becomes available. Currently there is no funding set aside for construction of these proposed improvements.

KDOT will not make any formal presentations during the open house on September 20. Visitors are welcome to come any time from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., look at the proposals, ask questions of the design team and make comments.
