Prior to officially becoming a Seward County cheerleader
this fall, freshman Kaela Krueger was named to one of the most
prestigious positions in the sport. Krueger was selected amongst
thousands as a National Cheerleader’s Association instructor. NCA is
the largest and most distinguished cheerleading camp in the United
States and only the best of the best are selected to be on staff. At
the conclusion of the summer, she was chosen as one of the Top Rookie
Instructors for cheerleading. In winning the award, Krueger was one of
just two instructors from Kansas to do so.

She has been attending NCA camps since junior high. As
a 7th and 8th grader, she was chosen for the All-American Team at the
University of Oklahoma. She was a UCA All-Star for all four years of
high school. She also made staff for UCA, but chose to work for NCA, as
you are not allowed to work for both companies.
