Katie Horyna is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

LHS freshman cross country runner Katie Horyna is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Horyna has the third best time for freshmen in Kansas and had the best time at the 48 team Swather Special in Hesston last Thursday.  She ran the race in 20:38.  She placed fifth at the opening meet at Borger and finished the 3K at 12:36 which was the sixth fastest in LHS 3K history.  Horyna will also play basketball and track.
