Katie Horyna is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior point guard Katie Horyna is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Horyna scored a career high 27 points in the opening 66-19 win over Holcomb Friday night in the Big House.  Horyna averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game for 23-2 Liberal in her sophomore season earning her first team all state honors.  Horyna is active at LHS running cross country and track and participating in student council, FCA, and NHS.  Horyna and #6 class 6A Liberal play at Guymon Tuesday night at 6:30 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
