Kansas State University President is Coming to Liberal to Host an Open Forum

Joe Denoyer - February 23, 2024 10:19 am

Have you ever had a question you’d like to ask K-State President Richard Linton? Are you curious about student experiences on campus or interested in how the University might be of help at the local level? Getting answers to those questions is the purpose of Kansas State University’s regional community visits initiative.

As the nation’s first operational land-grant university, K-State cares deeply about Kansans and their communities. To provide an opportunity to engage with, listen to and learn from Kansans directly in the communities they call home, they’re holding a series of open forums across the state – with the next one near you. On Wednesday, March 6th from 6:00-7:30 p.m., university leaders and K-State students will be in Liberal at the Seward County Activity Center (810 Stadium Ave) for a dialogue about university and community connections, a conversation on the student experience and a focus on enhancing partnerships in your region.

You are invited to attend, ask your questions, and get a chance to provide input into Kansas State’s efforts to be a leading next generation university and the University for Kansans. If you can make it, please RSVP by Sunday, March 3rd by visitinghttps://kstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2oBfC8yfAoFbz4a or reaching out to the Wild West Extension Office (620-624-5604).

You can view all events for the two-day community visit at k-state.edu/seward-county.
