There will be an organizational meeting for the Kansas City BBQ Society contest coming August 3 & 4th during the Five State Fair. Anyone interested in assisting with the event is encouraged to attend.
The meeting will be Feb. 13th in the west end of the Ag Building on the Fairgrounds and will begin at 7:00pm.
Also a reminder for the upcoming KCBS certification classes March 8 & 9. Anyone interested in becoming a Certified Barbeque Judge (CBJ) or a Certified Table Captain (CTC) is encouraged to attend these classes. There is a $90 charge for the CBJ class that includes a year membership in KCBS. A $30 charge for the Table Captain class is required. Contact Rice at the above for more info.
