Liberal hosted it’s JV Tennis Invitation on Thursday. Participating teams were Liberal, Dodge City, Garden City, Hays, Colby and Scott City.

Individually for Liberal
#1 singles – Hudson Brown went 4-0 on the day in his first singles competition taking 1st place.
#2 singles – Aidan Burnhardt-Purdy went 3-2 finishing in a 3-way tie for 2nd place. After all of the tie-breakers he took 4th place overall but was right there with the top players.
#1 doubles – Dammion Davis & Edgar Cortez finished 3-1 for a 2nd place finish.
#2 doubles – Sebastian Burnhardt-Purdy & Daniel Armendariz finished 1-3 in their first doubles experience.
The boys played hard and defended their home court well finishing 1st place as a team. Team places were:

Scott City 16pts
Dodge City 9pts
Hays 8pts
Colby 6pts
Garden City 5pts
The JV team travels to Dodge City on Monday.
