Josh Arafol is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore runner Josh Arafol is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Arafol won the 300 hurdles in 41.63 Tuesday at Garden City.  He also won the 300 hurdles in Wichita earlier this season.  In his first appearance in the 800 last Friday in Hutchinson, Arafol took 2nd with a time of 2:02.  He also runs on the 4×400 and 4×100 relay teams.  Arafol also competes in football and swimming.  He is a member of NHS.  He and the Redskins will compete in Goddard on Friday.
