Jai Chapman is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore Jai Chapman is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. The sprinter and hurdler brought back three gold medals and one silver from the Great Bend Invitational Tuesday. She won the 100 (13.34), 200 (27.88), and the 300 hurdles (51.00). She placed second in the 110 hurdles in 17.76.

Chapman was an All WAC selection in volleyball and the leading scorer for the Lady Redskin basketball team. She played softball last year and says after track this year, she will choose between track and softball next spring. She is a member of FCA at Liberal.
