Liberal, Kansas – Following two years in the outfield for Seward County, Jace Bost is making his way to the four-year level after signing with Philander Smith University where he can go in and make an immediate impact for their program.
Following a redshirt year as a true freshman in the 2023 season, Bost saw action in four games in 2024 with two early appearances that saw him appear score both of his career runs with the first being in game three against Redlands and the second in game one against Kirkwood.
Bost will be heading to a Philander Smith team that struggled throughout the 2024 season as they went 2-32 overall on the year with both wins coming in conference action over Tougaloo in game one and later Oakwood in game three. Bost will step into the outfield under a brand-new Head Coach in Noah Suarez who will take the helm of the baseball program starting this season.

Bost is now one of eleven players to sign on to the four-year level for the Saints. He joins Trenton Rowan (Arkansas), Brian Luna Alvarez (Texas Tech), Todd Baffa (Maine), Cameron Cartwright (Colorado Mesa), Tyler Wilcox (Oklahoma Christian), Trent Gerber (Central Oklahoma), Elias Herrera (Northwestern Oklahoma State), Connor Raney (Dakota State), TJ Newman (Evangel), Mason Hagel-Pitt (Colorado Christian).
