Liberal senior wrestler Isabella Gutierrez is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Gutierrez has amassed a 33-5 record in her senior season for the Lady Red Wrestling Team. She most recently placed 3rd in the 110# weight class at the KSHSAA 6A Regional Tournament in Olathe earning herself a spot at the 6A KSHSAA Girls State Wrestling Championship in Overland Park.  Gutierrez has won tournaments this season at Pratt, Hoisington, and Olathe.  She ran cross country at LHS and made state all four years.  She will be on the Lady Red soccer team this spring.  She is a member of NHS.
