On Tuesday, September 18, 2019 at about 12:54 p.m., officers responded to an injury accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Pine and Pershing.  Upon their arrival, they found that blue 2003 Suzuki GSX driven by a 30 year old male had been westbound on Pine.  He attempted to go around another vehicle that was making a turn onto Pershing when he lost control on some gravel and laid the bike over.  The bike slid into a white 2000 Chevy pickup, driven by a 23 year old male, that was stopped at the stop sign on Pershing.  There was no damage to the pickup.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained injuries to his shoulder.  EMS transported him to Southwest Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  Neither vehicle was towed from the scene.  The damage to the motorcycle is estimated at over $1000.
